JLT Translation Services Print E-mail
Tuesday, 02 May 2006
JL translations, english, french, spanishLiving on the Costa Blanca means that whether we like it or not, we will need to communicate in Spanish as well as English. Most of the time, we revert to sign language, hoping the locals speak some English, pointing, etc. Of course some of us speak fluent Spanish, but I suspect that there are enough of us who can relate to miss-communications. For every day things such as shopping, eating out, buying petrol etc, this is ok, but sometimes we may need documents translated accurately. These could be to facilitate our business activities such as website content, flyers, menus etc. To ensure accurate translation, we need to turn to a translation service.

There are a number of translation services available on the Costa Blanca, but one of the most personal, and inexpensive service comes from JL Translation (JLT), based in Altea. JLT operates from home, which means you don’t have to pay for expensive overheads such as offices etc. Keeping costs down means that this type of professional service is available to small business and even individuals needing translations. JLT have been translating for many years between French and Spanish, and have recently added English to either Spanish or French.

The process itself is equally simple. The client makes an initial contact via phone, and says what is needed (type of document, size in words, and when it is needed by). If this is acceptable, the client can email JLT attaching the document, preferably in MS-Word format. The translation is then done and returned via email, again preferably in MS-Word format.

So, for your low-cost, personal translation service, see our directory entry on thisiscostablanca.com by clicking here.
