Second Earthquake Shakes Torrevieja |

The second earthquake in three days shook the Torrevieja area yesterday. The second quake was detected and felt at 17:38 yesterday and registered 2.5 on the Richter scale.
This was sufficient to move decorations and cause dust to fall. A lot of people left their houses for fear they may collapse - however there was no material damage reported.
The national Geographic Institute said that this type of earthquake is relatively common for the Vega Baja area and they said it was not serious. They went on to say that there may be more shakes within the next few days but the probability is that they will not be significant.
