Belgian drowns fully dressed |

A Belgian man was found early yesterday morning, drowned in the Playa de Los Locos in Torrevieja. The Belgian who was 67 years old was found fully dressed about 60 m out to sea close to the southern tip of the beach.
His body was found at about 10am by two young divers who subsequently swam the body to the shore. The body was identified after police located the man’s family – who were naturally very distressed.
They said, although it has not been confirmed, that the man had left his residence at about 6 am. Police are investigating how the man ended up in the water fully dressed.
An autopsy will be carried out today. The case continues. |
