New Car Parks For Denia

A new scheme in Denia should improve the worsening car parking situation.
 Car parking in Denia has long been a problem which has only worsened over recent years. Continual changes in the heart of the town have only made matters worse. Whilst re-siting the ferry parking has helped, it really hasn’t cured the problem.
As a result, the town planning group has come up with a scheme to go underground. It has announced a scheme for 3 new large underground car parks. One is to be situated near the bus station and the other near the train station. The site of the third is still the subject of debate and consultation.
Work on the car parks will begin “as soon as possible” according to official sources. Naturally, the scheme will cause short term chaos and misery in the town.
