Murcia To Defend Its Care of Water 23 October 2006
Murcia regional authorities have approved a publicity claim which is aimed to iprove the regions image when it comes to water.
Over recent month, many other region have publicly condemned Murcia for not caring enough about its water, and allowing its stocks and supplies to become critically low. Even the government minister, Cristina Narbona, has publicly criticised the water situation.
Now in a move reminiscent of some UK water authorities, the Murcian regional government is hitting back. It is to launch a public relations exercise to try and set the record straight.
The campaign will consist of a series of mini TV documentaries to be shown an Antenna 3 television over the next few months. The campaign will cost more than half a million euros. The costs will be met by the regions autonomous government.
