Terra Mitica Makes A Profit At Last!

It has been revealed that Terra Mitica has made its first profits since being opened.
 The theme park near Benidorm has had a long run of poor financial performance. It has been embroiled in accusations of fraud and deception. But after six years of being open, its directors have announced that it will make a profit of 700,000€ (£500,000) this year.
The turnaround has been a major headache for its new management team. Many factors have contributed. On one side, the park has been promoted heavily in order to attract nearly 5% more visitors than last year. And inside the park, there have been a number of changes to make the rides more attractive.
On the other side, land has been sold off to reduce debt repayments, and a sever cost cutting exercise has been going on. |
